When I walked into my first machine shop there were no CNC machined parts to be seen. The shop was certainly filled with a huge assortment of parts but none came from a CNC machine. It wasn’t simply due to the fact that my first machine shop experience was at my junior high school but it was more for the reason that way back then the whole concept of CNC machines was little more than an idea on paper.
